It’s good that the new sets look like they don’t require weapons. But still, just veteran versions of trials should not be so difficult.

I think the new trial is going to be fun. Our first try on vet we made it to third boss and ran out of time after two wipes. Yeah this one is going to be tough on pugs but to the point our group made it this isn't as bad as the first boss in Dreadsail Reefs. That one is brutal on pugs.

and then the parrot said, "must be the water mines green too."

Why not? It's endgame, right? Players should prepare their characters with adequate builds and learn mechanics.

Besides, it's the last trial of the game, it's not old Hel Ra.

Endgame should not be completed easily but with dedication, time and effort invested.

There is a reason why normal versions exist.

Seriously, if you're pugging vet mode it's your own fault. Experimenting and learning is what normal is for, then you go to vet once you understand what to do.

  • I wouldn’t say it’s to difficult for a vet trial at all. It needs a little bit of coordinating, yeah. In fact it’s pretty fair and nice balanced. If you can pug it or not depends very hard on the group. But so was vMol for a long time. I don’t agree at all.

Yes. Normal till you know it, then Vet.

Pug'd it on Normal twice, both groups completed the Trial successfully. First run I was going in cold knew nothing about it, I was a bit confused at times, and I died twice. Second time much better as knew what to expect and I did not die at all. Two or three more times on Normal and I will try Vet.

There is only normal and veteran. If veteran shouldn't be difficult then what should be?

    Hard mode

Hard Mode being the most difficult doesn't mean that veteran shouldn't be difficult, too.

I think it’s far too early to say that, people said the same about vDSR back when it released and today it’s quite easily puggable.

Atleast give people a few weeks to get the hang of it first.

This. It's been five days since release. It will get easier with time. When people get more familiar with the trial and get better grab of the mechanics.

Honestly I'd rather see it unpugable at release than see it already needed first patch. I don't particularly like trials past SS and their balance but clears at launch days feeling really bad personally.

Entire raid is much more easy then the first boss of Dreadsail Reef. Okay second boss might look complicated but nothing fancy. Last boss which is Knot carrying encounter is nothing but damage sponge as long as you do not overlap any areas.

The same can be said of vDSR, the twins is mostly a dps discipline fight with supports needing to swap a dome...

The entire difficulty of vet is negated by one thing.

That one thing is eyes (paying attention).
